Bunnell Photography was founded in 2002 to offer top-quality photography throughout New England. Lots has changed since then, but we still treat every wedding with fresh eyes, and a focus on what makes the day and the couple unique. With a unique blend of photojournalistic, candid and timeless styles, we have been recognized as one of the area’s premier wedding photographers. We are pleased to be recommended by many top venues and planning professionals.
A core aspect of Bunnell Photography’s business philosophy is to offer our clients the option to print their own images for personal use. Each portrait and wedding session includes the digital negatives with printing rights.
Our 2nd shooters are a small group of trusted, talented photographers. They’ve all been working with Bunnell Photography for years. They’re like photo ninjas; you’ll barely notice them, but they’ll be creating some amazing candid images!
We accept a limited number of weddings each year.
About Kathryn Bunnell (Owner/Photographer):
Yes, that’s me, age 3, practicing with a camera on a tripod!
I was born an artist. From a very early age, I expressed myself through drawing, painting, sculpting and photography; the stereotypical “lefty” with a love of all things artistic and beautiful.
My cherished 10th birthday present, a Pentax 35mm film camera helped to document my journeys along the way. Later, an art scholarship partially based on my photography work helped to fund my collegiate studies.
My artistic attention turned to event photography as I planned my own nuptials. I wanted to bring a fresher approach to wedding photography.
That trusty Pentax has long since been replaced by many, many different professional digital cameras and lenses, but my passion for photography remains.
I have had the honor of photographing more than 800 weddings. I love when my clients become my friends! I often joke that I’m an honorary bridesmaid at weddings (minus the matching dress) because I always jump in to help make the day go smoothly.
Your wedding photography should be as unique as you are. My favorite part of being there to capture a wedding is to spotlight the couple and what makes them different and memorable.
See you soon!
